Practice Schedule
1st Practice: May 8th, 2024 with a rain makeup date of May 9th. There is a mandatory parent meeting during your swimmer's practice. If you have multiple swimmers, you only need to attend one meeting.
Pre-Memorial Day Practice Dates and Times:
(May 8 - May 22)
- Afternoon practices are May 8, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20 & 21st.
- 4:30-5:00 PM 6 & Unders *No Little Dolphins until 5/28*
- 5:15-5:45 PM 7 & 8s
- 5:45-6:15 PM 9 &10s
- 6:15-6:45 PM 11 & Ups
- The Mock Meet is on Wednesday, May 22. Arrive at 5:00 for a 5:30 start time.
- We will not practice 5/17, 5/23, 5/24, or 5/27.
Post-Memorial Day Practice Dates and Times:
(May 28 - June 27)
**All team practices move to mornings on Tuesday, May 28th.**
Monday-Wednesdays for dates May 28th-June 24th (Please note Thursday and Fridays times are a little different)
- 8:30 - 9:00 AM Little Dolphins
- 9:00 - 9:30 AM 6 & Unders
- 9:30 -10:15 AM 7 & 8s
- 10:15 -11:00 AM 9 & 10s
- 11:00-11:45 AM 11 & Ups
Thursdays (Meet Days 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, and Tuesday 6/25)
- 8:30 - 9:00 AM Little Dolphins (no change)
- 9:00 - 9:30 AM 6 & Unders (no change)
- 9:30- 10:00 AM 7 & 8s *15 mins shorter
- 10:00-10:30 AM 9 & 10s *earlier start time
- 10:30 -11:00 AM 11 & Ups *earlier start time
Thursday practices are a little different in order to preserve energy for the meets. Swimmers will get their events marked on their arms and work on skills like dives and flip turns as needed/desired.
Fun Fridays (5/31, 6/7, 6/14, 6/21) 9:30-11:00
This is a Free Swim with the entire team. Swimmers will receive ribbons from the meet the night before. Everyone comes at the same time, including Little Dolphins.

Evening Practices
If your swimmer misses an occasional morning practice, they may attend an evening practice from 6:30-7:15* on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays only.
*6 & Unders leave at 7:00
Please note:
- Evening practice is limited to a maximum of 15 kids. Additional lanes cannot be added to accommodate additional swimmers.
- These spots are filled on a first come, first served basis
- Evening practices are not meant to be a swimmer's only practice, but to help maintain endurance in the event of a missed morning practice.
- Morning practices are tailored to age group ability, but evening practices are not since they are for any swimmer 6-18 years old. Keep this in mind for those 6 & Under swimmers that need extra help.
- While we do not penalize our swimmers for missing practices, those who attend regularly will see better time improvements and will be prioritized for swimming in more events during meets.
Team Party: June 26th, 10 AM-12 PM (free swim, medals, and lunch)
Optional ASA Championship June 27th. Our swimmers start swimming at 4 PM. Arrivals to Georgia Tech may be as early as 1:30 PM. Most swimmers are able to leave around 7 PM. There is an additional fee that will be emailed out.

1st Swim Meet: Thursday, May 30th 5:30 PM Arrive at 4:30

3rd Swim Meet: Thursday, June 13th, 5:30 PM Arrive at 4:30
4th Swim Meet: Thursday, June 20th, 5:30 PM Arrive at 4:30
5th Swim Meet: Tuesday, June 25th, 5:30 PM Arrive at 4:30
