Team! 

It was a great season!  I am so proud of our kids, coaches, and of course you the parents!  So many of you absorbed so much new information in our first normal season since 2019! I appreciate all the help this season.  Because I had a lot of help, I had a lot of fun and am willing to continue to volunteer lead in 2023.  

Now that our first real season since 2019 is complete, I do have a better handle on what help to ask for.  I have made a form if you would like to be contacted in 2023 to see if you can still help.  I know things change in a matter of months. Pictures arrived today!  The ribbon box is on my porch and pictures are in ribbon folders. If you grab them, please make sure to secure the lid so that no moisture gets in the box. My porch is covered. My address is 260 Saddle Lake Drive. Medals are nearby if you missed the party!  Names are not on them so you just need to grab them.  There are also some at the pool if you spot one of the coaches or myself.  

Team Suits: If your swimmer's team suit might fit next year, we will have the same suits. If there's a chance, put it away with caps, photo buttons, etc for next year's season!

We are so proud of our swimmers who attended the GA Tech meet today! I personally would not have been brave enough to swim in such a big event as they did at their ages so I'm amazed at these swimmers!  There were 14 improved times just among our 12 swimmers out of 23 events! The meet only lasted about 3 hours (some families were able to leave sooner after their events were completed, and we only had 2 jobs to tackle between all the parents so it felt like a super easy meet! The kids had fun, and it was a great experience! If you didn't make it this year, keep it on your radar for next year.  We will likely swim either the morning or afternoon on the Thursday or Friday of our last week of swim team. 

I don't have official dates for the 2023 season, but I suspect meets to be on June 1, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 27th with the GA Tech Meet following on the 29th or 30th based on how most seasons fall. We will set an official start date when we set up registration, but it will likely start somewhere around May 15th.  Expect registration to open around March 15th, 2023.

Mom's Night:  There may be a mom's night scheduled in July.  We would love to gather and chat without our swimmers! Keep an eye out for infomation. 

This should be my last email for the 2022 season! Have a great rest of the summer, and if I don't see you around Roswell, I hope to see you next season!
