Reminder that sign ups for ALL Swim Meets for Swimmers and Parents open tonight at 8PM.

Visit https://saddlecreekdolphins.swimtopia.com and links are at the top of the home page.  When you click the link to sign up for swim meets, you will declare your swimmer yes or no for attending each meet and sign up for the meets you want to earn your volunteer points in the same link.  Currently, they are all set to be marked as OPEN at 8PM. (there were a lot of pieces to arrange, so if something looks off, please reach out to me). Each meet sign up will close approx. 72 hours before each meet but you may sign up for all of them tonight except the optional GA Tech/Champ. Meet.

Wednesday's Mock Meet deadline signup is Monday at 6PM.

Remember each family needs to earn 5 points over the course of 6 Meets and the Party to avoid the fee for not volunteering. If you need specific dates, shifts, or jobs, I encourage you to sign up tonight. We have tried to do our best to list the jobs with descriptions so that you can be see what fits your needs.  I will be at practice and am glad to also talk you through what could fit your families needs.  Please keep in mind we have around 70 families to coordinate, therefore we need every family to do their part to take care of your needs.

I do have a short list of jobs that can be done to help once all our critical swim meet needs are covered if you are struggling.  Speak with me directly in those cases.

Just a reminder, we are not trying to run families ragged or punish families, but the goal is to make a safe sustainable swim team that can continue year after year. Our team has been around for 40 years and every year we strive to make our team better than the last and set up well to continue the following year no matter who volunteers to lead it.  Swim team is a lot of fun, but unfortunately it is a sport that requires so many volunteers and our few lead volunteers can not manage it all on our own (we also have kids and jobs and life!) Most families will find summer swim team to be a great family sport where you can build community while watching your swimmers swim. The fee is common among local swim teams and we went with with a lower amount compared to some.
